SelfPubU User Agreement
Terms, Conditions and Acceptable Use
You must read, agree to, and accept the terms and conditions contained
in this user agreement before you use our services.
In this agreement, the terms "we", "our", and "us"
throughout this user agreement refers to the company Logical Expressions, Inc.,
(LEI) the company that has created SelfPubU Web site. The terms "customer"
and student" apply to the person who has purchased training through the SelfPubU
web site.
Use of Service
SelfPubU training accounts cannot be transferred or used by anyone other than the
customer/student. Customers may not sell or lease the SelfPubU training to any party
without prior approval of Logical Expressions, Inc.
Trademarks, Servicemarks and Copyrights
All contents of SelfPubU are copyright © Logical Expressions, Inc.
No part of the SelfPubU Web site may be reproduced or transmitted in any form or
by any means, including mechanical, electronic, or otherwise. This includes, but
is not limited to photocopying and recording or by any information storage and retrieval
system, or transmitted by email, or used in any other fashion without express permission
of Logical Expressions, Inc. This excludes downloading and printing of training
information for the customer (student's) own use.
LEI reserves the right to terminate or refuse service to any person or organization
at any time for any reason, or no reason at all.
Any SelfPubU student that engages in republishing Logical Expressions copyrighted
material shall have their access to the SelfPubU site shut down immediately WITHOUT
NOTICE and could lose any or all information posted on forums. The student also
shall be held liable for any and all damages and/or losses that may result as a
consequence.
No Spam
Logical Expressions, Inc. has a zero tolerance policy for spam. Spam is defined
as any unsolicited email whether commercial or non-commercial in nature. Spam includes,
but is not limited to, the sending of ANY unsolicited information to a person or
group that has not specifically asked to receive that particular information or
is not a personal acquaintance of the individual sending the information.
Students at SelfPubU may not gather information about other students without their
permission. Absolutely no spam can be sent through Logical Expressions' servers
or network. Any and all spam complaints will be investigated thoroughly.
Earnings Disclaimer and No Warranties
Although LEI has made its best effort to provide accurate information about book
publishing and marketing, LEI makes no guarantees that students will finish a book
or earn money as a publisher.
LEI makes no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, for the service
it is providing. LEI is not be responsible for damages suffered by any customer,
including incidental damages or lost profits. This includes loss of data resulting
from delays, non-deliveries, misdeliveries, system failures or service interruptions
caused by any source whatsoever.
Customers understand and agree that LEI has no obligation to maintain, protect
or safeguard customer's data storage and the customer agrees to accept responsibility
for maintaining backup copies of all such data. LEI does not claim to be free of
errors or service interruption. All content in the SelfPubU software is provided
to you "as is" without warranty of any kind either express or implied
including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness
for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, security or accuracy.
Additionally, LEI in no way guarantees financial success or that any users of the
SelfPubU will make money in any amount. We are not offering you a guaranteed business
opportunity of any sort. We are, however, offering you a set of resources you can
use to learn how to write, publish, and promote books.
Payment
Your credit card statement and receipt will indicate "Logical Expressions"
as the payee. The payment methods we accept are Discover, MasterCard, and Visa.
Payments are are in U.S. dollars.
Students enrolled in programs that have recurring fees are billed every month.
To prevent losing access to the SelfPubU training, it is important that you use
a current credit card and register with a valid and monitored email address.
In the event of credit card expiration or problems processing a transaction, LEI
will try and contact the student using the email address on file.
If you are not satisfied with the training, you may contact LEI within the first
30 days to request a refund of your first month's payment. If you want to cancel
after the first month, you must email us. Your card won't be billed again, and your
log-in information will be turned off. Students who complete an entire program and
complete all payments receive lifetime access to the program.
Views and Opinions
The views and opinions expressed on this site are purely the opinion of the owners
of LEI. Our policy is to only endorse products or services that we believe in based
on our experience. However, students should independently verify any product claim
or other representation about a product or service mentioned with the manufacturer
or provider.
Privacy
As one of the sites in the Logical Expressions network solely owned by LEI, SelfPubU
is covered by the LEI privacy policy, which is detailed here: http://www.logicalexpressions.com/privacy.htm
Governing Law/Severability
This agreement between you and LEI will be governed by and construed in accordance
with the laws of the State of Idaho (United States), without reference to its conflicts
of laws and principles. You agree that any litigation or arbitration between the parties
will take place in Idaho (United States), and consent to personal jurisdiction and
venue in the State. If any provision of this Agreement is found by a court of competent
jurisdiction to be unenforceable for any reason, the remainder of that Agreement
will continue in full force and effect.
Complete Understanding/Modification
These Terms & Conditions constitute the full and complete understanding and
agreement between you and LEI relating to the subject matter hereof, and supersede
all prior understandings, agreements, representations and warranties relating to
such subject matter. Any waiver, modification, or amendment of any provision of
this Terms & Conditions, initiated by you will be effective only if accepted
in writing and signed by LEI.
